Bête Noire

This project delves into the plight of American women during the 1930's, otherwise known as the Great Depression. It focuses on the juxtaposition of the American woman's lifestyle versus the lifestyle of a European woman during the same era. The mood of the Great Depression is expressed through monochromatic tones and fabric choice while European influences are translated through silhouette.
